What is Neighbourhood Mail

Neighbourhood mail targets a neighbourhood. Items consist of printed and non-printed matter such as product samples. The service provides the delivery of information and/or advertising material. Multiple formats are acceptable. Some examples are: catalogues, community newspapers, co-op mailings, flyers, samples etc.

Minimum Volume & Delivery Standards

Volume:

• The complete distribution of one route; or the complete distribution to only residences, apartments, farms, businesses, or any combination, on a given route.

• When mailing to more than one route:

o less than full coverage of a given route is permitted (these items will be delivered in no particular order until depleted).

Delivery:

• Comprised of two components, transportation time and delivery cycle, which are added together to determine the delivery standard.

Unacceptable Items

Unacceptable items are any items that are considered non-mailable. We will either dispose of or recycle Undeliverable items at our discretion

Generally, non-mailable matter means any mail that:

• Is prohibited by law (e.g.: illegal, obscene, fraudulent)

• Is non-mailable due to the fact that it fails to meet certain physical characteristics or marking requirements

• Contains products or substances that could:

• Injure a person handling the mail

• Damage postal equipment or other items
